Antivirus Soft. WONT UPDATE

I have AVG free edition on one of my computers and it hasnt updated since january of 07 and im concerned about the outdated virus database. Why cant i update.

do you have another firewall instaled alongside windows firewall?

If so the firewall might be preventing Avg from accesing the internet for some reason so it cant update

Have you tried manualy updating?

It sounds like you're still using the old version that wasn't supported after January, update to AVG 7.5
