any benifits from bridging 2 network cards?

well i was bored and put 2 network cards on my computer went to radio shack and got an extra wire, hooked 'em up to my router, and all i notice is less latency in sandra 2004 benchmarks....any other benifits i may not know of?

1. Sandra is synthetic. As long as you realize that, that's good
2. There quite possibly might be a performance boost from doing that however unless you're doing major xfers and/or serving i dont suspect there is a major benifit of doing that?

eh, screw it i'll leave it how it is (bridged) i already spent the 7$ on the cable lol and yes i realize it's synthetic...well thanx any wayz
