Any Good Non-Combat Flight Simulators for Consoles?

I've been searching, but I haven't been able to find any good non-combat flight simulators for consoles. I'm thinking of something along the lines of Pilot Wings 64. Any recommendations for a high-quality one? (I know of MS Flight Sim X, X-Plane, and FlightGear, but I'm looking for something that runs on a console.

If you find one let me know. I'd love to have one, then I could bug the fiancee on the tv and the computer with FS programs! ha ha ha

She hates my FS games, she doesnt get why I like em. I like that I have learned so much about flying. I definitely have a greater appreciation for pilots as a result of playing FS 2002 for hours straight.

I once did a flight from Tallahassee, Florida to Chicago, Illinois; making numerous fuel-ups along the way. I did it in real time also, it took FOREVER!

That would only be about 2-3 hours, right? (Unless you're flying an old biplane lol.) Lots of people play video games for several hours straight.

3 hours in a game like fallout or wow isnt much. But sitting there for 3 hours on a FS, watching nothing go by.......ugh god it took forever.

But you can do other things while you're flying - it doesn't require all of your attention all the time like regular games. (Driving a car for hours is worse - it does require constant attention.)

when i fly, its all i do. I dont get up to go outside or anything of the sort. I couldnt do that on a plane, so I dont do it.

I also have all my flight charts printed, and weather maps, terrain maps, airport maps of major airports I have to stop at, several drinks and a bag of sunflower seeds,

more proof that consoles are for eight year old future serial killers, current cereal killers 0_o?!!??!?!

nah they have actually done test against the whole theory violent video games make children violent and people want to kill people. all test proved the opposite of that.

That is for PC he said he wonts something for a console.

the one voyagerfan posted looks pretty good. If you have a PS2 for a PS3(fat) then you should pick it up and try it out. I can't think of any though, simulators have always been more of a PC thing and I can't really see that changing but who knows.

I'm really looking for something like Pilot Wings 64 with exploration / free flight mode. Sky Odyssey is the closest I've seen yet - thanks voyagerfan99

Just was hoping to find something newer.
