Im thinking about getting a TFT monitor for christmas as my CRT one is Huge lol

Also will that TFT monitor be better than my current 17" Hp V72 CRT monitor?

Can you read text ok or are they all blury because ive never had a TFT

Ehhh. It's alright. It doesn't have the best specs in the world, but Samsung is a really good brand name. I would definitely take that over a lot of the crap people are pushing in here. For sure. It will probably last you a long time. I really liked my Samsung.

Yeah i know Samsung is a really good brand name as we have a Samsung Tv and its excelent.

However i havnt seen any TFT monitors at that great brand anywhere alse...

Usualy there some cheap make ones...Targa is one brand of monitor i seen around the same price but they look crap.

As for my question....

The resolution on the two is very close. The TFT will be fine for gaming. The text will be very legible if you use the proper resolution. Should be great actually.

I'm sure you'll like it. But yeah, Targa and all that crap, stay away from.
