Any issue building this?

I would like something like the build in the sticky above. I want to play Medieval II with a 20 inch widescreen...
I would rather stay away from mail in rebates. So if there is something just as good post up.
Thanks
Phil

A minor upgrade to the cooler and the use of discrete case + PSU. The biggest jump was the upgrade to the DirectX-10 card.

It all looks good, i would try and wait until the 22nd or after for the Intel price drop, you could probably get the E6600 for nearly the same price....and I'm not sure if that power supply will be enough for the 8800. On the requirements it asks for atleast one 12v rail at 26A, so i would check into that.

ok thank you guys. I'm going to go ahead and order this stuff; I'll wait after the 22 price drop and see what I can come up with.

Any recomendations on a solid 20 inch widescreen?

You could possibly get 2 HDD running RAID 0, instead of 1 x 400GB
For MB, you could also consider 650i chipset instead.
Optical drive could consider SATA instead of IDE.

for the the widescreen, use the one in my sig its 20.1" and had a lot of good review... that what i will be buying for my build next
