any PC software that can emulate Android or iOS?

The reason I am looking for this software is because I won't have a mobile phone for some time but I want to access to WeChat on windows 7.

WeChat windows version requires QR code scanning with the mobile device before allowing login.

Is bluestacks a possible software? Any alternatives?
 
Has Bluestacks been improved greatly in the last couple of months? I haven't used it in 2-3 months but it was an awful implementation. It worked but was pretty terrible. AMIDuOS is head and shoulders better, IMO.

I know you suggested a better one but he wants free, and BlueStacks is the only one I know of. I haven't used it in some time myself.
