My cousin came up today and needed help with her Dell Inspiron 2200. It was slow and ful of junk. I managed to go through everything and delete, scan, ect.. But I want to be sure everything is okay.

There's no active malware showing in that log, but a couple of things I would suggest removing:

Please run HijackThis and choose Do a system scan only.

Place a check next to the following entries:Please close all open windows except for HijackThis and choose Fix checked

Additionally, your Java Runtime Environment is out of date. Older versions have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system. Please follow these steps to remove older version Java components and update:
Updating Java:
  • Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on the Software icon > Add or Remove Programs.
  • Search in the list for all previous installed versions of Java. (J2SE Runtime Environment.... )
    It should have next icon next to it:

    Select it and click Remove.
  • Then Download and install the newest version from here:

How is the system running now?
 
everythign is running okay, eccept for the startup. I've checked all items that can not run at statup and fixed that. But it is still starting up slow. Any suggestions??
