Any SLI besides nVidia

Right now, are nVidia cards the only one that can run in SLI??

If so, when do the other manufacturers (ATI) plan on putting out their SLI cards??

technically 3dfx has SLI but it's not the same as nvidias (and its old )

ATi cards can run SLI, nVidia and ATI cards can run together in SLI. Naturally these are specific cases though.

I thought you had to have the exact same card from the exact same manufacturer to run SLI??

you do, but you can run 'limited' SLI with different video cards
