I just bought my new computer, the components are:

1.1 KW tagan power supply
intel core 2 duo e6700
NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard
2 gigs of corsair DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)
1x evga nvidia 8800 gtx
2x 320 gig hard drives RAID 0
liquid cooled

is there anything i should upgrade so that i can play the latest and greatest games at close to full blast without any problem (ram, another video card for sli, anything)? i dont wanna spend any more money unless it is 100% necessary. any input would be appreciated! thank!

I wouldnt say so no,That system looks quite powerfull and would have no trouble running todays games on max settings.

So far so good, might consider upgrading the watercooling configuration but to reccomend anything, id need to know what components you have. Also, what motherboard do you have?

here is a more complete component list:

Tagan TG1100-U96 1100 Watts Power Supply
EVGA 122-CK-NF68-AR ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 1066MHz FSB 4M shared L2 Cache LGA 775
2 gigs Corsair 240-Pin 1066 (PC2 8500)
NVIDIA GeForce 8800GTX 768MB 384-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card
Seagate Barracuda 320GB 7200RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s X2 w/ RAID 0
2x samsung lightscribe: 8X DVD+RW 8X DVD+RL 12X DVD-RAM 2MB Cache

The main thing i am wondering about is if the 2 gigs of ram would be enough, concidering the recomended amount of RAM for a vista system is 1 gig, which is fairly high.

Well if your running vista you might want some more RAM, depending on what kinda gaming you do, 2 gigs may be enough.
