just installed a new 6200 and graphics are very odd for example this is one of the loading up screens to battlefield 1942

Is that a video or some sort, or does the game actually do that? I remember a while back I had a somewhat similar problem with videos. It happened with one format. I can't remember exactly how I fixed it...it was something with the playback settings.

I guess go for new drivers/directx if possible.
 
yes ive installed the latest nividia drivers, and no its not a video its like that while in gameplay too, its one of the screens that comes up before you reach the menu
 
i take it it doenst do this in windows...?? if it doesnt then i thin your card is dying under any stress or work you give it, return the card and get a replacement.

yah, an extreme case of artifacts there, the card is having a trouble in your PC, check all the settings reinstall the drivers, if those dont help then send it back for a replacement, i know you said it works in your brothers PC, the only thin i can think of is that its actaully a very specific problem with your mobo. can you test any diff cards in your motherboard to see if they work?

yes i have a 5500 here that works great, but ive done a complete format of my HD, and played battlefield and its fine now, no cutting off or artifacts messed up, but then i installed the via 4 in 1 drivers and bam its doin it again, so i done a system restore to just before i installed 4 in1 and works fine, cant understand this at all, but obviously i need the 4 in 1 drivers as its got the AGP driver on it so what do i do?
