Anyone been playing dead space?

Ive rented them in the past but nothing stacks up to this game. It somewhat resembles the game bioshock. Most scary games are crap like that condemend blood shot game or whatever. Let me tell you dead space is such a good storyline and scary game. There is tweleve chapters guy was telling me at gamestop hes played for ten hours and is only on chapter 4.
 
^^Okay. Looks like it's gonna be sold at work.

I had a customer at work that was playing spore and it fried the mobo in their laptop because of SecuROM.

I was looking forward to it too. :(

If it is supposed to be scary, I want it. I love any dark games like that. Resident Evil was a joke compared to the Silent Hill games. I hope Dead Space will live up to the hype.

Well I don't have the money to fry my mobo and I don't wana have to reload Windows. MAybe just in case I'll take the external HDD from work and make a true image backup.

So if I have something like Daemon Tools, will it detect that and do something?
 
sry, talking about cracks is against the rules, posts deleted...

I will say the SecuROM usually blacklists daemon tools and will most likely keep the game from running until you exit DT.

So I can keep Daemon Tools installed, I just have to exit the program and it should run?
 
That sucks. I always play games of an image. That way i don't have to worry about scratching up the Retail disk.
 
SecuROM is the worst thing to happen to PC games. Period. We pay $50 to rent the game and have our information uploaded to EA, our PC tracked, and our components broken.

I just got it today.
It almost seems worth installing SecuRom, because the game is absolutely incredible. If you really don't want to have SecuRom, then get it for a console (if you have one).
 
I bought it for the PS3 and it's pretty cool. It may remind you a lot of doom, but that's neither here nor there. it's fun, but before the monsters make a full sprint at you try to shoot out there legs.
