Anyone experienced with “Remote Desktop Connection”?

How easy is it to use? Any issues with it?
Thanks

i use often enough. before i forget i will say
now. take down firewall while getting it going.
Once its working put it back up or reboot and
see if it works. then you will know where the
problem is if its not as was when down.

Ive never used the proggy remote with windows.
Ive always used RealVNC Enterprise. I can work
on other computers on this planet (family), reboot
the system (restart) and loggin in on theres.
Use it as an FTP Server or complete control.
One thing though. Use strong passwords on profile.
ya might wake up one morning and find your mouse
moving. I won't argue about minor issues and which
program to use. $50 or $75 is the same to me.
Encryption for password, adding mac ability would and
is what i would want. wake on lan on the wan side
is what i have not figured out. I will.
i can do on the lan. i have other things i have to do now.
this is a winter sport for me. something to do.
ftp server and others.
cheers.............

Your question just led to another from me.
How in the blue moon do you find your wan ip
without going to someplace like whatismyip.
i would rather do from the command line if possible.
any suggestions?

Remote desktop is a piece of cake, enter the ip / hostname of the system your connecting to and click connect, then login with the username/password and you've got remote access!
