Anyone have this case? Antec P180

I think very highly of it. It is one of the best designs I have seen, as well.

EDIT: Ah, a good review. That is the case I would get if I needed another one.

Thats actually the P180B.

My friend has that case, and it looks very nice, it's also very quiet.

So far, good reviews. My only concern is the p/s on the bottom. I've never had that before. Fry's has it on sale for $120. So I am going to try today and see if they have one in stock.

Well, I have a 20 pin connectot on the p/s so I have to run the adapter to 24 pin, so that gives me enough there.

I did see the one on Newegg, but if I can get it local for about the same price, I will. I usually shop Newegg, but in the end, you might see a $5 difference.

The problem my friend has is with the 4-Pin motherboard connector. But it depends where the 4-Pin plug is located.

Glad you pointed that out. Mine is on the top of the m/b That might be a problem. Well, hopefully they will have one on display then I can decide from there. I was looking at a Lian PC-60BPLUSII, but I would have to order that, plus it's a little more $$.

i have it and i love

it would be totally quiet if i didnt have a loud fan in front.

my PSU wires reach but wire management isnt the best for this case

its a fabulous case which i have been extemely happy with so far. The design makes it incredibly good and making it very easy to work with. If you were to buy i would advise mounting drives in the bottom bay and placing another 120mm intake fan at the front of the case.

As for the psu bay, its used to help keep the overall system cool by isolating one of the hotter parts of the system

You do need longer wires than usual as mentioned before, aminly for the four pin connector, however i believe many manufacturers are providing psu's with long enough cables now. Personally i use an Antec Truepower 2 in mine and it gives no problems at all

i have the Antec smartpower 2.0 and the cables work, with a little wire managing (ie. sending power cables in the sound and graphics card on top of mobo

That's one of my favorite cases, but the only reason i wouldn't get it is because it's too heavy, and I like to take my computer along with me.

Thanks for all the replies. I went to Frys and it wasn't onsale as I thought, so it was $140. I didn't like the door opening from the left since I sit to the left of the computer. Also, I prefer side window, so I decided to stick with the LIAN case I mentioned. I think it fits my needs a little more.

I looked at the 900 when I was there. That's a good looking case all around, plenty of room for fans ans such. My brother plans on using that one, so I don't want to get the same as his.

Oh, weight doesn't make much difference since it stays in the same place all the time.

Have it and love it. It is elegant and sleek, yet holsters my extreme rig ;D I had to buy a P4 Connector costing me all of £2 ($5 max) - I love it. Going to replace with the fans with Arctic Cooling, but these ones are still pretty damn impressive!

Recommended to anyone. I removed the HDD cooler, as I had issues with my Hiper Type-R 580W, but I notice no temperatures that are concerning except for my graphics card (56C) but that's an X1900 and produces a LOAD of heat!

Recommended.

I have this case, I love it. However, power cables can be a pain in the rear. Its also not totally quiet. I wouldnt say its worth the extra cash, but I dont regret buying it.
