I need to know because im building a gaming pc and im looking at getting an amd a6 apu and then crossfire graphics
anyone know if thr 2005 hp pavillion mediacentre have an fm2 motherboard

It would be more helpful if you provide the model of Pavilion that you have. I did some general searching for machines built around 2005/2006, and found that most used AMD socket 939 and AM2.
Socket FM2 was introduced in 2012.
If you want to get into PC gaming, you should not be trying to upgrade a pre-built 2005 era desktop, you need to build a new machine.
