Anyone Recommend Free Hosting?

Hi all

My son wants to set up his own website. He's 8 years old. He has identified a URL but wants to know who can host it. Having the typical purchasing power of the average 8 year old he is after recommendations for free hosting companies. Our ISP is Sky who are too mean to offer any freespace.

Do they all carry adverts (I cannot understand why anyone would offer free hosting without ads - what else would they get from it?).

Some kind of built in web-building software would also be a bonus. I personally have built my wife's business website using html and javascript (so I know roughly what I'm doing once he has a host) and don't relish spending the next few months teaching him. He's probably better off starting learning using some point-and-click type stuff.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thanks

think this information can be useful for you. If you plan to get your website, here is one good free web hosting provider to choose - 000webhost.com

They provide hosting absolutely free, there is no catch. You get 1500 MB of disk space and 100 GB bandwidth. They also have cPanel control panel which is amazing and easy to use website builder. Moreover, there is no any kind of advertising on your pages.

You can register here: http://www.000webhost.com/359932.html

Free hosting is just that, FREE. You may experience alot of website down time and you won't get nearly the amount of information if you were to go SBI!
