Anyone running the Windows 10 tech preview?

Hey all, to save some money, I downloaded the tech preview rather than buy a new windows.

I have to say, its blown me away.

it feels a lot more like Windows 7, than Windows 8, while still maintaining the features of 8.

Love the start menu, and the fact that you can customize it with apps is great too.

I've been running it in a VM since it was first released. I like it well enough but can't say I'm blown away. My feeling on Win 10 is the same as Win 8, not an OS I would use to upgrade an existing machine with a working OS but I wouldn't hesitate to use it for a new build or if it came installed on a pre-built.

I feel the same, id upgrade to it from 8, but not from 7, 7 was just too good

I'm going to upgrade my tower PC from Windows 7 (64bit) to Windows 10 (64bit)
I'm testing Windows 8 & Windows 10 Developer Release on VMWare. What can I say, I'm blowed up!

I have installed via VM and I like it.. I am currently on 7 since I downgraded from 8, but will be using 10 when final is released.

Been using it on my ThinkPad since the day it came out. Obviously it's a bit buggy because it is still a beta but on the whole it's a nice OS and I'm looking forward to getting the final version.
