I switch from yahoo mail to gmail probably a couple years ago, partly because the yahoo had been over run by spam, and gmail was just the way to go. Well I'm trying to get back to some really old emails I have on there (2006 -2008 kind of old).
I go on and see I have roughly 13000 unread emails. Ignoring that, I go to the last page. The very first email is from 2010. that's not right. So I delete every email I got in 2011. It drops my unread to about 3000. But the same thing, the earliest email I can see in my inbox is from 2010.
Now, I know the emails aren't gone because If I search for certain key words, it'll bring up the older emails.
Does anyone know how I can recover all my emails to see them? I can't find any browsing function where I can say "all emails before this date", or anything of that sort. Any help would be appreciated.
