Hey guys, i want to get more info from you about this OS, its a linux system i think, so anyone seen or used it before?
thanks.

I think it was renamed Linspire and they just came out with version 5.0.

I too was wondering about this OS, and if I could use my favorite software like Family Tree Maker and Paintshop Pro with it. Any compatibility issues with software and/or hardware?

In any case, as soon as I get some $$, I was thinking of buying and installing this on an older computer so I could play around with it and not mess up anything important. :P

Linspire is just Linux with some GUI tweaks to make it look and feel like Windows (a little but of a generalization, but not much). So no Windows programs (other then the ones that also come in a Linux flavor) will run without emulation software like WINE.

I believe that you can get version 4.5 for free. Fill out the form for a download version then click where it says apply coupon, and use "lindows" as the name of the coupon. I think that code still works.
Or I believe you can get version 5.0 free, with a subscription to the C'N'R warehouse. Check their website for details.
Lindows os very easy to use and install, an excellent choice for windows users switching.

well how about the drivers, i mean where can i get the sound and graphic drivers supporting this OS?
