Anyone try solaris?

i got some OS dvds from their website for free a couple months ago and never used them. Has anyone used solaris? and also, would it be possible to virtualize it in windows 7? thanks!

The information terminals built by Sun Microsystems here at my university run OpenSolaris. It's not a bad OS, but I don't use it much.

ok, but i got solaris DE, not open. not sure what the difference is but open looks just like linux.
