anyone use 3ix hosting?

Beware of hosts that give tremendous amounts of resources - like 150GB of HDD and unlimited bandwidth for $4 a month. There is no way anyone can afford to run a hosting business if they gave that many resources to a client. They are overselling their resources because they know the customer will never use that much. They are overcrowding the server. And your three page website will experience serious downtime.

Search Google for "web hosting not oversold"

Yeah, you don't have to worry about the email. All hosting companies will include email. You just log into the control panel, make your way into mail accounts, and you can either add a catch-all forwarder which will redirect all the mail sent to that domain to your current email account, or you can set up a new email account where you log in through the server's mail client to read it.

What is the purpose of your website - personal or business?

Magmahost looks good, they claim not to oversell server resources, but unless you talk to people who have used it before, you're taking a risk. But it's inexpensive enough that it's a small loss if you decided to look for a new server. As long as your domain is not with the hosting company, it's easy to switch hosts in the future.

well i am doing small computer repair and service jobs in my area and getting the website setup to try and get more business as I'm only getting a few friends and family at the moment. I have set it up on a free hosting so you can see. The domain name is with another company so that is fine. I am mainly trying out for a year to see if it helps get business then if it does I'll continue hence looking for something cheap for the year.

Edit: Done some looking and seems they are good so might try out magmahost for a year.
