Anyone Use Office Production Software other than Microsoft Office?

I have been looking into alternatives to Microsoft Office and I was wondering what your results have been.

There are the free ones such as Open Office, Libre Office, and Lotus Symphony.

Softmaker offers both a free and a paid version that is less expensive.

Kingsoft is supposed to be real close to MS Office but one person reported that their is hidden malware/trojan in it. I haven't seen this reported elsewhere.

I'll be loading up Windows 7 on an older PC that can handle the 64-bit version but I am trying to save them $ since they are on a very tight budget.

Would appreciate feedback from experienced users of any of these.

I've used OpenOffice and Libre Office in the past and both seem fine. Download both and see what you think, then keep the one you like best.
