Anyone used a Cood Max PSU before?

Hi,
I recently bought a 500W PSU from ebay and the brand's name is Cood Max.
Has anyone used this brand before? Is it good or is it bad and is it safe?

Sounds like a generic brand...I wouldn't use it, period. I wouldn't even buy a PSU on eBay, you don't know if it has been messed with or something.

If a PSU in your system goes, it can blow up your entire system. In a really bad scenario, it can catch fire, setting your house/apartment on fire. Not something you want to mess with.

Get yourself something like OCz, Corsair (I think they make PSUs anyway), Thermaltake, Silverstone, Antec.

I think I will take that out knowing that it was only $18 and buy a well trusted brand then.

Do not skimp on a power supply. They are the most overlooked component. You want one that will last with no troubles. Try an XFX, corsair, antec, silverstone, or thermaltake one.
