Hey Everyone
Looking at getting a macbook soonish. It seems to tick all the boxes of what i want (fast processor, small and light(ish), built in webcam, large amount of RAM, draft-n wireless, largeish HDD, easily dual booted with windows) but even with a student discount and, by my research, seems to give other laptops of a similar spec a run for their money (only with small screens, i'm awear that i can get a spec as good as that, if not better, in a 15.4" screen), it still seems just a bit expensive.
I'm currently working with a Mac pro at work and love how quickly mac os boots and shuts down, big plus for me.
however, acording to wikipedia, "A fully redesigned Macbook with an aluminum shell similar to the MacBook Pro is expected to be released along with an updated line of iPods at an Apple event sometime in mid-September 2008."
Does anyone know anything about Apple product history, is it likely the current macbooks will come down in price?
Cheers,
Ritchie
