anyway to change fan speed?

i bought a thermal take 120 mm fan and it sounds like an airplane is there anyway to turn it down.?

Either way a fan controller or speedfan (this one works only when the computer is running)

Good luck getting Speedfan to work. Just about any computer made after about 2003 doesn't seem to work with it

If they really bother you just replace the fans with some the same size that are quieter. You can find them online really cheap and effective.

Also check if there is a fan controller attached to the fans. The fans in my case have a little cord running off of them and they have 3 settings (low, medium, high).

If the computer's fairly new, most have options located in the bios to adjust fan speeds. Some also have special software you can use by the maufacturer.

Yup t here should be fan contoller in your mobo if it is fairly new
