no, it is stored in the bios. i dont think there is a way into it

HP, Dell, and others all have their own splash screens written into the bios programming as an option you can often disable. That goes for Asus and other board companies seeing their own splash screen with the disable option found in the advanced or advanced chipset section there. HP, Dell, Gateway, and the others have their done by the board manufacturers upon ordering them. By your sig you would have to contact Asus to see if they could help on that for a home user? Possibly for a fee.

asus allows you to use your own splash screen using their asuslogo utility.

Have a link for that? Or is that on the Asus software disk? I had forgotten about that one since I always run without any splash screens to observe the post tests.
