AOL keeps popping up

ok so every time i use IE when i try to load a web page AOL loads and they want me to sign in. But i don't want to cause i would rather use IE than AOL. So what can i do? I tried changing my default browser to IE but that seems to not have worked.:(
 
Right click on IE, go to the Programs tab. Then near the bottom click on the Make default button. Think that might sort it out.
 
I have AOL on my computer, and it works perfectly!

I use FF all the time and AOL never popped up. One thing I do is that I go in task panel (Ctrl+Alt+Del) and stop the aolsoftware.exe program which is usually taking 5000K+ and sometimes way more....

Maybe that will work.

Thats why he should try to remove all the aol stuff.
 
Yeah,

if he doesn't use it, he better remove it. I don't remove it because I have an email adress with AOL.
