apple - can you upgrade

i know ive asked this question before but i cant find the post for it. anyway, you know you cant build an apple because they build it themselves ( tell me if im wrong) but can you upgrade them like buy extra gig of ram or buy bigger HDD

You can upgrade. Most use standard PC parts and all. I know my G4 mini uses standard desktop PC2700 RAM and a standard 44 pin laptop hard drive.

The mac pro is bril.

You can take out the HDD whilst it's running (not the main one).
You can take out the ram as well whilst it's still running (not all of it).

Obviously it's not good to do it (probably), but it can be done.

Yes u can. U can upgrade the HDD and the RAM for the macbook, macbook pro, and, mac pro, and imac. Id imagine that its quite hard to change and upgrade ona mini.

Theres lots of videos on youtube to show u how to do this stuff.

yes you can upgrade the ram and hard drive in a macbook. not sure about the imacs though.

Quite a few people buy a macbook with a lower spec then just upgrade the ram when they get it as its cheaper. all you have to do is take the battery out, unscrew the back and this gives you access
