apple comp?

Just get a macbook, I have the white 2.0 GHz core duo macbook, with 1GB of ram and an 80GB hdd, works awesome, got it for $1350 after a student rebate and I got an $100 rebate since I bought a printer with it and a free ipod nano. Not sure if those promotions are still running, but they ran them a few times, its a good laptop.

if i took apple itd problee be a 13'' and i already have an ipod(old version nano) lol what else could i ''get'' if there sale is on? cause iam homeschooled so.... doubt thatll fly lol

Ya well the macbook is the 13" version, perfect size if you ask me. But ya its always good to price out the different brands see what you can get for the money, and for $1800 you can get a pretty nice laptop.
 
No they are different, the core 2 duos are better cpu's but not by a huge margin. The Core duos are actually excellent cpu's and are great for a laptop, but if you have the option between teh two in a laptop you want, try and get the core 2 duo.

i was lookin at other places i can get a 17'' widescreen with 1gb ram...good hdd and perfect for multimedia for like....1500
