I thinking of buying a Apple (owner doesn't know it won't turn on)

Is this a motherboard issue most likely?

This is a Powerbook 400Mhz/1MB Cache/64MB/10GB HD/8MB Video/DVD

If this unit worked how much would you sell it for? Similiar ones on Ebay seem to be going for between $125 and $150.

thats why a comparable mac to an alienware or dell workstation beats it in

Well I guess that that means that only idiots don't like spyware, adware, viruses, and stupid little paper clips trying to tell you how to do things on your computer. Oh, and how about that useless little doggy in the "find" function under Winblows XP??? You, sire, are truly a witless chole. To you, I say Elif air ab tizak!!!

LOL... Let's not start this guys... Mac does have its perks... As so windows. Sorry I brought it up.

Haha..

just a question/comment i'm not a big computer nut but i was thinking about macs or pc's...isn't the possible reason you don't have problems with spyware and viruses because the majority of spyware and viruses are designed for pc's and not macs....since like what 20% or the populations use macs...i'm not bashin macs i like them...i use them daily at work...just i use pc's at home...works better for me and family

This is true that Mac / Apple computers do not have near the virus problems as Windows. It is for that reason alone that a lot of people like Macs.

Macs also are a favorite among the graphic design market, since they are geared towards the requirements for tons of CPU power.

That new G5 is pretty impressive when it comes to such tasks, look at their website for that machine:

Mac makes great computers, though the fact that they use a lot of proprietary hardware makes them less appealing to people, since most everything involving Windows is less expensive, and there are a lot more options for harware, software, accessories, etc...

It totally depends on what you want to do with a computer, which makes your ultimate decision in what you buy.
