application error

Hello all,
Well when I have tried to run a setup program, the following screen has been presented when I double click on it

Any idea about this problem?

well it is an application, it is used for registration and student records

From the error it looks like the programme is not designed for a windows environment.. at least not 32bit windows.. it may be a 16bit program.. or maybe linux.. ? no idea.. just stabbing in the dark really.

right click on the file
choose properties
choose compatibility tab
and modify compatibilty mode

You could try and run it from command prompt, its probably a DOS installer
