I am going to be running Golive (which has slowed down many computers in the past) while also downloading and suppporting my webiste through this computer...I am building from scratch and have nothing yet, so I guess the CPU is the place to start. What would I be wanting to look at?

Since it sounds like you're going to be doing a lot of different things with your computer, an Intel Quad Core would be a good CPU

+1 I agree the quad core is the way to go.

I would definatly agree with going with a Quad.

ok. So this motherboard ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813121059 ) doesnt support the core 2 quad. But the rating shows it as being a top motherboard. Should I go for a new CPU based around a motherboard??
