I can't see anything in the log. Why are you stopping AVG and anti-spyware from running at startup? That's not a good idea. You've got a few unnecessary things running at startup, if that's what you're concerned about.

Ther's a few others as well. It depends what you use.

I agree with Buzz,
I can't see anything in the log.
I do however see you have an outdated version of Ad-Aware, the current version is SE, you're running 6, you should upgrade. Also you have MessengerPlus3, depending on how you install it, it can install the C2 lop.com spyware, (you look clean though), just bear in mind that if you ever re-install it to NOT let it install 3 party apps (there's a checkbox during the install...)

Thanks Byteman

I did spot the Adaware but forgot to mention it. Theres no sign of Lop in the log, I think it must have been installed without all the crap. If only everyone did that.

hey guys, thanks a lot for all the replies

i was wondering if u guys could help me solve 2 weird problems that i think aree related. i did a registry check/repair with registry mechanic and advanced uninstaller, cause my regedit is damaged somehow, wen i click run>regedit, a dos screen flashes then goes away. i go search>regedit and find it (although theres no icon) and it works from there. how could i get this to work through run?

also wen i turned on my pc this morning, and b4 XP opens up, a BSOD comes up (not like the usual ones) and it says an error occured and must shut down computer b4 it becomes damaged) well the error is 0x0000007E (0xC0000005, 0xf6ac3174, 0xf7ca4d44, 0xf7ca4a4o) and ive checked on microsoft website with no luck... i then reset the system about three times, reseted the BIOS, then sed go to Last Knwon Good configuration, and the comp started working any ideas?

thanks

well you can't format the windows drive from windows. You have to use fdisk or partition magic.

The easiest way to reformat is through dos, format c:, or just boot from your windows cd, and tell it to format the drive.
