Aquos on the wall? (t.v)

You can... but they're heavy and as such you need to ensure that there are studs behind it to hold the screws (or use those butterfly anchors).. Otherwise the weight will rip it off the wall.

Yea u have to use a stud finder, and then make sure u put it up on the stud. Otherwise u will be skrewd, no doubt.

Yeah thats what I'm worried about.. the weight might pull it down..and that'll be the end of my aquos lol.

So I need to buy a wall mount with studs? A little confused. Thanks

most lcd's/plasmas have a "vesa" mounting screws on the back, its kind of a universal tv mounting so you need to check that your tv has vesa mounting screws!

either in the manual or type into ggogle you tv make/model and you find the specs on there!

i have a 37inch aqous which has vesa mounting screw holes!

is it a brick/concrete wall or plasterboard/wood wall?

it is vesa wall mountable-so that means you have alot of choice in brackets-however i think on a plasterboard wall i think a flat fitting bracket is prob safer.

as for fitting-you will need to find some wood behind the plasterboard to give it something solid to grip into, even for just a few screws on one side then use some wall plugs for plasterboard walls.

they open out on other side of plaster board, it is tricky decission- i have mine on a stand and wouldnt risk it on a plasterboard wall

Hm.. Thats a hard decision. I'm new at this so I have clue how to cut my wall.

If placing it on a stand is the case, does anyone know any good tv shelves? Something so I can put my speakers on it as well? few shelves for books/dvd's won't hurt either. I prefer a black self if anyone can help me out.

Thank You
