I was wondering:
Do you need to let the arctic silver set before you use the computer?
I mean, like on the website they say they have a break-in period. so, please explain
 
Even if they say that there's a break in period I've never heard of or read about letting it sit before using it. Just using it after you put it on should work fine.
 
the break in period is where the paste settles in during use. this is about 200 hours. basically, the paste is subjected to heat and during this period the thermal paste becomes more efficient and your temperatures should go down
 
yea. i think the particles in silver 5 come in like 3 diff shapes and they "put themselves together" as more heat travels through the gel. the layer also thins out during the break in period. also remember to turn of your comp and let it cool to room temp a few times. i know i like leaving my comp on alot :)
