Are all images on harddrive

I know that any picture I download and then delete from my computer is not truly eliminated from memory. However, what about pictures I see online, but do not download? While on the Internet let’s say I see a gallery of pictures and I click on them. I view each picture one by one, but never actually download any of them. Are any of these pictures now still on my computer in any way? If so will clearing the cache with a program like CCleaner be sufficient to totally wipe them? Would I have to do a full on wipe of free space 35 times to completely do it?

Thank you for your help.

Howdy :D

Everything you see is 'downloaded'.

Most page content is stored in RAM, images are often cached onto disk. If you use incognito mode then the browser won't store history or persistent cache.
