Are netbooks loaded with windows XP?

Hey all....are netbooks loaded with windows xp an able to accept all office programs and all types of internet and windows live messenger (msn) ? many thanks

If you get one with XP it is, lol. Some of them come with Linux but there are equivalents for office and messenger.

ok many thanks...also they dont have cd drives is there a way you can get internet virus security on them?

yeah just download the security suite that want. All of them are available for download from the companies website.

yes if u have a built in WiFi card or if u have an adapter
