Are there any free computer security system out there that work and stop viruses?

My sister just got a computer, her McAfee expires in a month. I pay 40 dollars a month for my security on my computer but she doesn't want to pay like me. Any free computer security systems?

$40 a month is just outrageous and unnecessary. What do you have? You can download any free antivirus program. Look at this thread of mine.
