Are there any Windows video editin software that could actually match iMovie on Mac?

I've been trying to search for a software as convinient as iMovie on Mac ofr years. However, I guess I am bad at it because I haven't found a good enough of an editing software that could actually match iMovie's convinience, ease of use, and quality. I want to add music in the background, cut clips and put transistions between them, but I have no idea what kind of video editing software on Windows would actually to those kind of stuff. I don't care about the cost, but I just really want a good, solid video editing software that can get as close to iMovie as possible.

P.S. I've tried Pinnacle softwares...

I work very much with video and graphics(cuz that is going to be my future job)
There is no program like iMovie in Windows platform. The only porgram which i know is Ulead programs. Theya are easy to use and and they have pre created themes. Go to www.Ulead.com

But iMovie is another thing.
If you are so intrested in Video why dont you try a pro software, like Aftereffects. It has milliards of effects if you just know how to use diffrent effects and mix them together. You can creat everything. Everything.
