Hi all, I saw these video cards or chips in 2 different laptops; are these cards about the same performance? or one is better than other?

the 540M is about 15-20% slower than the 460M on average. and both blow the HD 5730 out of the water

Thank you. so the 460m is better, but Why is the lower number is better? it is usually the highier number is better.

GTX > GT then refer to the number, the GTX series is far faster than a GT series always
