Are torrents safe from lawsuits if you can use mods that disable/fake sharing?

There are perfectly legal torrents, they just aren't movies, music etc (usually, sometimes those can be gotten legally)
 
I would love to see a few for downloading Linux distros. When trying out a few distros the download servers "took forever" at the 8-10kps rates where all you needed was a 14.4K modem to spend two days downloading! As far as anything else it would have to be freewares or sharewares to try out. I spent a few years trying to expose one "low life" that traveled around selling everyone else's copyrighted properties! :mad: !!!
