Just got $100 out, hopefully getting a lift from my dad down to the train station so I can get to town 
Are used console games playable online?

Okay so I didn't get a hard drive in the end.
I'm gonna pop back down town tomorrow to pick up a cheap game, and a VGA cable.
Just realised why the display looks so crappy
I've been using composite @ 480p
The monitor is only 17" but its the screen is still an awefull mess, Will be able to play at least at 1024 x 768 with VGA, maybe 1280 x 1024 depending on how it looks.
