So i just got bc2, and put it on m new rig. I have a gtx 580 and a 2500k in there. So ive been playing multiplayer, no problems. I hop on the campaign today and i had lag spikes! While playing the frame rate would slow down DRAMATICALLY for about 1 second. This happened about 3 times during an hour and a half of play. How can this possibly be happening when i have just spent 500 dollars on the FASTEST (SINGLE GPU) VIDEO CARD ON THE PLANET!?!?!?!?!?!
 
I just got done with the single player campaign the other day and don't remember any lag on my 5770 when I had it.
 
Sure you installed the right drivers and everything? Any background programs? Is this a brand new build and install? What are your temps like?
 
Brand new, how can i be sure i got the drivers all perfect? the gpu core idles at 34 c and i ran an extreme benchmark with msi kumbustur and it only got up to 54. Cpu idles between 30-38
