I have narrowed down my search for a new notebook for University and so far both notebooks can satisfy my needs for University. I want to become a Game Designer/Programmer and i need to know which notebook can help me most.

that screen size with that resolution is going to kill your eyes.

you can get a inspiron 1420 with a better video card and specs than both for less than 1500 depending on what you customize.

otherwise, i would take the first one
