I've been using Ares for a while now and haven't had too many issues until recently when I couldn't get it to connect. I uninstalled and upgraded to the newer version but was still encountereing the same issue. Using a fix from another forum I think I accidently installed some viruses which started messing up my system and that, along with other issues, prompted me to re-install windows. I have since downloaded ares again and been using it fine til last night when I was suddenly unable to toggle between windows. I just kept getting that sound you get when there's a window open that needs an answer before you can do something else. I had to force the system to shut down and when I re-booted ares wouldn't open. I was just about to unistall/re-install again when it suddenly said that 'ares had encountered a problem and would close' and now it's working fine. It's like it knew I was about to uninstall it. Am I being paranoid? Could a virus do that? Or did I just free something up?
