Arghh my monitor wont respond!

Theres another thread about this issue also. I plugged in my new monitor and everything is connected. Once i turn my PC on the monitor would turn on but does not display anything!!!! Can anyone help me? I cant get into the bios :( and cannot switch to my old monitor because its broken.

Need help ASAP thanks for your help guys :)
 
It could be the video card. If you have an onboard VGA, try resetting the BIOS and then hooking up the monitor to the onboard. You could also take it to a local computer shop and see if the computer works on one of their monitors to isolate the problem.
 
Sorry guys, for late update but i have fixed my issue. My new monitor which im currently using had for some reason worked? I left the computer and the monitor itself alone for one day and reconnected it. Then it suddenly worked? does the monitor have a self reset system inside? im not sure but it works now and im very happy! thank you guys for the answers!
