Im a photographer, and Im having a very annoying problem I would like help with asap.

I'm trying to upload pictures onto my photobucket. I have alot of pictures, and when I try to browse, they are orginized by "Size" and not name. I want to ogrinize them by "Name" by defult, and not have to arrange it after each photo is opened. It will take to long, and I have too many pictures to upload to bother with arranging.

I can't seem to stick it as Name. Please help, thanks in advance:)

View setting in explorer window. The tption is there to "arrange icons by" where a menu of choices will appear on the right side. type, date, name, size, etc. You can also choose the sizes of the items while there from details to list to tiles, etc.

I know how to ogrinize it by Arrange Icon By... my question is, its defultly setting the arrangments to SIZE, and I would like to make it defultly NAME. It only seems to be doing this when I upload files from internet explorer/Opera(iv tried both).

How do I make it name by defult, and not have to arrange it ever time I upload/browse a picture?

Once you have is set that way you go into the tools menu and drop down to the folder options. There you can set the 'remember each folder's view settings" option in the view tab. Even when rebooting Windows the last folder opened will still be seen the same way there. That's the way it is done by Windows.

The remember each folder's view settings and remember last folder viewed at logon options in the view tab of the folder options have always worked here for maintaining the "list" setting as well as the alphabetical order. Even then I occasionally have to drop down to the by name option in the dropdown menu when going from folder to folder. I don't think you will find a registry edit that will quite keep the setting permanent.

This was the way it seems to work on a regular basis here however. Whenever opening a folder for icons those are always seen in alphabetical while not in the list but tile setting often enough. If there is any number digits at the beginning of the file name that will throw everything in loop there if you want "293-ball park" seen before "186-riverboat" as one rather quick example there. If any time and date information is seen first on the actual file names you have to take that into account there. You would then have to rename each one to maintain some type of progressive order.
