Artifact problem with Asus AX800Pro

I just bought Asus AX800Pro and I'm having problems with 3D games. I turned off fast write option, and after that NHL 06 worked perfectly and the other games worked a little better (with fewer and smaller artifacts). I have updated my drivers with no result. I have tried to turn v-synch off but it didn't help. Can anybody help me?

My system:
AMD Athlon XP 2600+ 512 MB +WIN XP

can you post a screenshot form the game with the artifacts showing?
 
I tried to reinstall Pro Evolution Soccer 4, but it didn't help. And here is a screenshot.

my guess would be that the graphics card is overheating. firstly, make sure the fan on the card is spinning. next, turn off the ciomputer, unplug it, take the card out and make sure the fan has no dust in from stopping it spinning.
 
what does the temperature says?

because that the fan works meant not much. the fan has to get cold air to blow on the heatsink and the hot air has to get out of the case asap.

fo you have much cables near the heatsink of the grafics card in your case?
