Runescape isn't too hard to max out, my radeon 4250 integrated graphics can do that :)

Okay nothing about graphics there, just googling some reviews to find some specs...

Okay after further reading, the HP/Compaq machine is the better buy, and what do you know it has a Radeon 4250 in there :)

The Toshiba machine only has a celery (:P) processor, so it's not that good unless it's one of those new wolfdale/dualcore ones. It also uses Intel integrated graphics which are not good for anything.

The Compaq machine is definately the one you want.

Not bad, but still Intel graphics. won't do anything well apart from internet browsing and office stuff.

dang ok, mmmm well im going by best buy's tomorrow i going to look around there to. My price range is from 200-450 :\ I can't go no higher.

If you want a new laptop with an Intel processor and Nvidia or ATI graphics, you be looking at $750+.

However, with your budget and wants/needs, you'll most likley want to stick with an AMD processor (Turion or Athlon) with Nvidia or ATI graphics.

I have a Compaq CQ50-115nr (AMD Turion X2 processor, Nvidia GeForce 8200) and it runs Unreal Tournament 2004 comfortably (I know it's an older game, and so is Runescape).
