asking for opinions about starting webpage

There are so many when I check on Google,
in order to find a way to start a webpage
for myself.
Google offers a free webpage.
Any opinions?

you want free hosting as well? What kind of site are you making? Domain name registration is not free (but extremely cheap).

you can find quite a number of free hosting site on google. there are some that even offer free hosting with no ads. as for domain, you can choose to buy 1 or get a free one from http://www.freedomain.co.nr/. its not dot com but should be okay for personal use. and there are many ways to actually make a website but html should be the way to begin. you can find many online lesson. heres one http://www.w3schools.com/. hope i helped

If you don't know HTML, don't waste time learning. Try a webpage builder like BlueVoda http://www.bluevoda.com/ . For a cool domain go to www.co.cc and then find a hosting service which allows you to use your own domain.

to Robin, hosting is basically a service where a server is provided for you to upload your website. that way, people can access the server and view your website. making a website alone and leaving it in your computer wont allow people to view it.
