I've just installed Norton Ghost and before I could use the program, it made me install ASP.net. Now when I log to on windozws, I have to choose an acc't. It's not what I want. What is ASP.net and what would happen if I deleted the acct?

ASP.net is a code similer to PHP used for database driven websites. i wouldent of thought it would do anything if you deleted it but not 100%
 
I had the same problem. I assume the .net framework that got installed was version 1.1. There is a known problem with that - exactly what you described, and sometimes the welcome screen freezes on top of it all. Well, that has been fixed in the service pack 1 for the NET Framework v1.1

You could also delete the asp.net account, although some programs or drivers (for example some mouse or keyboard drivers) that need it might not work well if you do that. The best thing is to read about it in the link I will paste here. All I did was install the SP1 and the problem was solved.
